The Consortium has the main objective of creating, developing and marketing new fruit varieties as a new offer for Chile and the world by developing genetic improvement programs and biotechnology support tools. To date, they have generated registered varieties and advanced selections in peaches and nectarines and table grapes.

With the obtained results, a new phase is initiated,  based on the assessment, patenting, transfer and commercialization of results. In this stage, Biofrutales expects to meet its lines of R&D, Transfer and Commercialization, in addition to the baseline management, through contributions of partners, partnerships, income from sales, among others.
