Genome III – Table Grape
To date, Chile has invested in genetic improvement and in the establishment of a platform for genetic transformation and genomic studies for the discovery of genes and to develop molecular markers to increase the efficiency and accuracy of these improvement programs.
This project aims to identify and characterize genetic factors, allelic forms and possible products to define the mechanisms of interaction in which they are involved. This will be used for genetic improvement of table grapes, creating new tools and technologies that will position Chile among the leaders in innovation and technology of agroindustry
